I looked at Amber and asked "What?" She said "You were muttering about alternate universes and alternate Holly's and Julie's. We were in the main room of Alicia's house and there's no other way to describe it, things were different. I held up a hand to try to get Amber to stop talking as I slowly walked around stunned and confused. The TV mounted to the wall was huge, twice the size of the one I recalled. The XBOX was some kind of strange shaped black cube and I didn't see any games or game cases. I didn't see a DVR or DVD player either. I looked around and couldn't find any of the DELL's but I did find two Microsoft Surface tablets and a couple of Samsung Tablets. Now I was really confused. I stared at Amber who seemed anxious and she asked "Josh? What's going on? You're scaring me babe". I inhaled slowly, exhaled the same, closed my eyes, then went to the fridge to get a Pepsi. Holy fuck, the logo looked different. What on Earth was Pepsi Zero? And Starry? What the fuck was Starry? I drank half a Pepsi, handed it to Amber who drank some, said "Thank you", then she held me and asked "Are you okay?" I sat down in fear of the answer then asked "Amber? Babe? What year is it?" She laughed "Are you serious? What year is it? It's 2023 dummy". I literally fell off the stool and started shaking. 2023?

The house that was next door wasn't there. After all of Alicia's jokes, sarcasm and complaining, it was literally a 10 slot parking lot with a light pole, a "Private Parking" sign and a small bench.

Practically dragging Amber across the street, I hurried into my house and again almost died. All the electronics looked different, newer, and I just stared at the "JACKSON" Baltimore Ravens jersey.

I sighed and suddenly Julie was snuggled against me, petting me, and asked "Are you okay babe?" I swallowed "Thirsty" and Amber said "On it". Julie kissed me softly, then said "Before Holly gets here, is Amber in or was it just a thing?" I sighed and Julie smiled "Got it. She's in" and then she kissed me again before Amber snuggled on the other side of me and helped me sip some Pepsi. Julie was holding me, laying with me, snuggled right up against me, and Amber sighed "That's true love. I will never get sick of seeing that". I sighed "I love you Amber" and she laughed "Same, but don't even think I'm waiting six months for another go". Julie laughed then held me with a sigh until I said "Jules, it happened again, this one was the strangest one yet, and I just cannot fathom how I lost 7 years in the process".
Once I told her everything, Julie just stared at me.

Julie muttered "JWDONEY" then sighed "Well, he is hit or miss on his cliffhangers. Then what?" I shrugged then said "Well, that was 2016 I think, maybe early 2017, and then nothing". Julie laughed "Wait. You expect me to believe that we've all been in some kind of happy limbo for 7 years and nothing has changed except the electronics, movies, music and media?" Amber asked "Are you guys talking about some kind of show? I don't think I've seen that one? Is it on NETFLIX or PRIME? What's it called?"
Julie and I grinned at each other and then I sighed...

I put him on speaker and said "I'm with Holly" and he laughed "That's not news". Holly smiled and said "It's not" and I sighed "Yeah". Carl laughed, "But seriously, what's up?" I told him about the motel and he laughed "Alicia said this day would come. Should I just buy the city of Orange Park and get it over with?" I stared at Holly and asked "Can you buy a city?" She took her phone out to look it up and asked "Oh wow, when did I get a new phone?" I grinned and said to Carl, "Can you find out what they want for it and then see if we can get someone in to clean it up, spruce it up, or something?" Carl muttered "That place..." then said "It's nothing that gasoline, a match, and a couple of bulldozers can't fix, but I'll get on it".
We hung up, Holly was messing with her phone and asked "When did I get the FOLD? It's like a tablet Josh". I blinked, tensed, exhaled, then asked "Did you just call me Josh?" Holly stared at me for a long moment then said "Wow babe, I don't know what I was thinking" and I asked "Hey, when was the last time I called you Holly?" She shrugged and said "Wow, this writer really has changed. There would be at least 3 new girls and four sex scenes by now, plus you and I would have had at least 2 dumb arguments". I exhaled, then closed my eyes to think as Holly said "Well to be honest I don't remember why we were having a party, but this is sort of a soft reboot, so there's that". I grinned and asked Holly "So back to your point? You want to rile Julie up?" Holly said "Think about it. There's no downside to getting her riled up.
